2 My Best Friend's Wedding Music From The Motion Picture [Soundtrack] [Import] Various Artists ≪収録曲≫ I Say A Little Prayer Wishin' and Hopin' You Don't Know Me Tell Him I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself I'll Be Okay The Way You Look Tonight What The World Needs Now Is Love I'll Never Fall In Love Again Always You If You Wanna Be Happy I Say A Little Prayer Suite from My Best Friend's Wedding 発売日：1997年7月7日(月) レーベル：Sony Bmg Europe レビュー (Amazon) Ani DiFranco steals the show with her ace rendition of Dusty Springfield's "Wishin' and Hopin'" in the soundtrack to My Bestfriend's Wedding. But DiFranco plays the lyrics for smirks, which makes it hard to wrap yourself up in the performance. Elsewhere, you get Mary Chapin-Carpenter covering "I'll Never Fall in Love Again", a version of "What the World Needs Now Is Love" by Jackie DeShannon; Diana King (of "Stir It Up" fame) doing a lite-reggae version of "I Say a Little Prayer" and a Tony Bennett moment. Burt Bacharach's songs are all over this CD, which is good. But aside from DiFranco and Bennett, many of the artists turned loose to sing them could've been better deployed.
